• Welcome to the Accommodation Data Programme (ADP), a research initiative designed to meet the needs of accommodation providers and industry representatives in New Zealand. The ADP collects a small amount of data from accommodation providers each month and publishes reports that can be used to benchmark performance and monitor industry trends.

Funded by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and managed by Fresh Info, the ADP replaces the Accommodation Survey previously operated by Stats NZ. With the ADP, you can access reliable and up-to-date insights and statistics to help you make informed decisions and stay ahead of the curve.

Join the many other accommodation providers who have already signed up to the ADP and benefit from the latest industry data. Sign up today to get started.

    • Who can join the ADP?

Any provider of short-term accommodation in New Zealand e.g. hotel, motel, backpacker, holiday park, lodge, bed & breakfast, and holiday homes.

What data do you need to provide each month?

Participation is voluntary. Once you’ve registered, you’ll be asked to submit a small amount of data at the beginning of each month:

       Stay-unit nights available

       Stay-unit nights occupied

Guest nights - domestic, international and total

       Guest arrivals

You can choose to submit data automatically through your Property Management System if you don’t want to enter it manually each month.

    • How can you get more information?

You can access our visual guide for new users here.

Alternatively, you may email andrea@freshinfo.co.nz if you have any questions – he’ll be happy to help.
